Before we dive into the pictures themselves, I do have to thank both BMW Hungary for teaming up with me again, and providing me with -probably- one of the best travel companion I could possibly ask for, in the form of a 540d Touring and to Fotoplus.hu for providing me with the perfect all rounder for such an event, the almighty RF 24-70 F2.8L.

This time around I had the honour to be photographing for the event too. This meant I was able to get in on Friday, which is the non-public day and experience the excitement as the cars are freshly arriving and getting through the scootering/inspection of the contending cars...and I must say I believe this year the event's line up was beyond imagination...

...and this also meant I was able to snitch some clean shots of cars that normally you'd not be able to photograph under such clean conditions at such a picturesque location. Just to name a few: the Bugatti EB110 or an 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Spyder or the almighty F40 GTE.

Before the end of the day I had the chance to visit Villa Flori and see Nardone's 928 restromod that I managed to light paint, together with GTO Engineering's lovely 250 SWB California Spyder.

Saturday and Sunday passed by like a glimpse, on Saturday the main course was at Villa d'Este, while of course on Saturday it was all about Villa Erba, and of course I did shuffle around in between depending on requests coming from the organizers. Thankfully knowing the program and been here before gave me the confidence I needed to make sure I capture the essence of the event on these two days too.

It'd be really hard to pick a favourite from the event, but amongst the many probably the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 MM would be in the top 3 from the Ralph Lauren collection!

I'm really looking forward to next year's edition, while the bar has been set high each year, knowing the organizers I'm sure they'll be able to top it again!
